The vaccine should be administered at least 10 days before arrival in Saudi Arabia, providing protection against four types of meningococcal bacteria (A, C, W, and Y). Proof of vaccination is a prerequisite for visa issuance, ensuring all pilgrims are vaccinated against these strains.
